Weekend Rubdown

The Tiger Attack Twinz are riding the couch tonight, watching some Olympic Ski Jumping & relaxing after a delicious roast beef dinner (Trader Joe, you are amazing) some wine & a fat grey cat named Tango (we're cat sitting...more on that tomorrow).

We had a great weekend, due in large part to how it started. Esme called me Friday afternoon & told me to prepare for a surprise. She showed up at my office with champagne in a Starbucks cup, then led me on a wild goose chase around downtown (she was trying to scare me the whole time, joking about sex therapy & tightropes & such), which ended at a serene spa & my first professional massage ever!! The knots in my back got absolutely pummeled. It was awesome!

After some work for me, some Emma time for Esme & a late night Jenga-thon on Saturday, we spent the whole of Sunday recovering (with a little help from our suburban date at Chili's. Yes, I said Chili's. No, I'm not kidding). We're gearing up for another busy week. Noise Pop is in town!! So if we're quiet, it's because we are in places that are not.

ICE DANCING just came on, which is my queue to wrap this up & change the channel. Can't they show more curling or something?
