Flu Blues

Oh, Reader...

Esme here to report that there isn't much to report this week. I had jury duty & brought home a fierce flu bug. I don't think it's of the piggy variety, but it has still knocked me down for a few days. Hopefully I'll be all better by tomorrow so we can celebrate the black & blue birthday of a sweet friend & start our Big Bedroom Paint Project (shall we call it BBPP for short? Sure. Why not).

Today, Porky & I spent the day working in bed with reruns of 'Glee' in the background. It was very uneventful, but very necessary!

I'm also a little embarrassed to report that we watched a horrible chick flick that Pete would never in a million years watch with me. I didn't even want to tell him what it was because I knew he would laugh his head off at me for even thinking about watching it. He guessed on the second try and DID, in fact, laugh his head off at me for about 5 minutes. *sigh*

Hopefully we'll have something fun to report over the weekend. But until then, Scrabble & pizza are calling.
