One FAIR Day

On Saturday, p+e headed north with friends to Dixon, CA (south of Sacramento) for a day at the Dixon May Fair. It was such a great day!! & so nice to get out of the city & smell some livestock...it took Esme back to her Central California roots!  We stuffed ourselves with fried food, rode awesome (& probably very unsafe) carnival rides, got our fill of cute animals (petting, not eating) & finally got to meet Elliot & Peter, Mary's niece and brother. Having Elliot lead the way was like being a kid at a carnival all over again. Pete asked if we could go find county fairs every weekend...minus the funnel cake. We're definitely too old for that part of the carnival!
